Het Zuid is unique in Antwerp and perhaps far beyond as well. It is not that we are partial because of our Quares home base on the Leopold De Waelplaats, but the success of this neighbourhood has long been established. Restaurants, bars, outdoor cafes, museums, art galleries, fine manorial residences and first rate architecture combine to a harmonious whole. Living at Het Zuid is a very deliberate choice: the open character, thanks to the wide streets, and the future par on the reclaimed Zuiderdokken [Southern docks] will enhance the quality of this neighbourhood even more.
