Brabantse kouter

The Brabantse Kouters are situated to the north-west of the Green Belt. The expansive fields and panoramic views make this region an oasis just a stone’ throw from Brussels – a region full of sights and natural areas such as Aa forest, Eglegemvijver [Eglegem Pond], Buggenhoutbos [Buggen Wood], the Bloso estate and much more. There are also many castles worth a visit that includes such gems as the Rubenskasteel and Diepensteyn. In the latter castle you can admire real Brabantine draught horses and then round off your visit with a Palm beer from the De Palm Brewery nearby.
